Course Overview:
This is an opportunity for all licensed dental professionals in the office to take the mandatory every 2 years requirement by the California Dental Board: Infection Control and Dental Practice Act. Also, there will be OSHA information that meets the employer responsibility to provide a safe workplace free of known health and safety hazards.

About the Speakers:
Arthur Melendez: Arthur is the Senior Compliance Officer with Make Compliance Simple. He entered the dental field in 1989 as the Legislative/Government Relations Secretary for the CDA. In the past five years (2018) Arthur had an emphasis on healthcare regulations compliance. Certifications earned include: Certified Grant Writer (Healthcare) (AGWA); Certified CPR/BLS/First Aid Instructor (AHA); Certified OSHA 5119 - Cal/OSHA Standards for General Industry; Certified Cal/OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety and Health; Certified Toastmaster; Certified Life Coach.
Alethea Bejarano: Alethea is the Marketing Director/Senior Compliance Officer at Make Compliance Simple. She has 30 years of combined experience in the dental field; Trainer for HIPAA, Risk Assessment, Policies & Procedures; She has a B.S. in Technical Management, is RDA Certified and has a Teaching Certificate.
NorCalAGD Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Registrations are subject to a $50 non-refundable processing fee. Cancellations made by email seven days prior to the course date will receive a full refund less the $50 processing fee. Cancellations made within the week prior to the course date will receive a 50% refund less the $50 processing fee. Transfer of a registration to another name will be considered by email request through date of registration.
The Northern California AGD is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by the AGD for Fellowship/Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by state of provincial boards of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from (8/1/2021) to (7/31/2025).
